Last weekend saw the second event in this years championship, the hastily arranged and well attend Into the Breach event held at The Outpost, Sheffield.
16 players did battle using a wide variety of the 27 lists available for use at Epic-UK events. The event also saw three new players enter the Epic fray.
Steve emerged victorious at the end of the 3 games, and the next 3 players, Tim, Dave T and Richard all ended up on the same number of points, 110. Now the result as per the websites software didn’t quite match the result as announced on the day, Richard takes 2nd, Dave T 3rd and Tim 4th. The first tie break that is applied is the score from any wins, and Richards 2 wins scored more than Dave T’s. Tim, while have a max 32 win only had one win and two draws.
Duncan Riddell was voted most sporting player, and Simon Partridge best presented army for his lovely Death Guard.
Next up is the fist 4K event of the year at Games Expo, details can be found on the events page as ever.
